A big welcome to Thomas Glen, our new Projects and Associates Officer
News

Two weeks ago, we welcomed our new CEO, Dr Anna Burrage. Today, we’re saying a big hello to Thomas Glen, our new Projects and Associates Officer, another member of our small but mighty core team.
A great match
Thomas, a community and sustainability professional, has what we’re looking for in spades:
10+ years’ experience delivering projects and coordinating volunteers
Successful track record in engaging residents in environmental and social programmes.
Strong background in grant writing, evaluation, and stakeholder engagement across local government, consultancy, and non-profit sectors
People and projects
Thomas joins us from St Luke’s Church, Downham in Lewisham, where he was a Community and Advice Coordinator, supporting disadvantaged residents with employment and skills programmes and managing volunteers.
Before that, he held a variety of consultant roles, delivering environmental analysis and technical reports for local authorities, supporting national air quality and emissions reporting projects, and coordinating public consultations, to name but a few.
His passion for working with volunteers started in 2016 with The Conservation Volunteers, where he supported teams with carrying out environmental conservation projects.
And there’s more…
Thomas has an MA in Environment & Development and a BSc Zoology. He breezed through Understanding Domestic Retrofit (L2) and has shown his commitment to accessibility with Beyond Autism training.
Welcome on board, Thomas!
