Bringing community energy to Sutton
Something exciting is starting in Sutton this weekend!
Following an invite from our friends at Bioregional and Repowering London, we’re teaming up to help launch Sutton’s first community energy group — putting local people at the heart of a cleaner, fairer energy future.
For the past 10 years, we’ve been helping communities turn big ideas into real projects: building groups from scratch, bringing partners on board, and delivering renewable energy that works for local people. Now, we’re bringing that experience to Sutton.
Why this matters
High energy bills. Cold, draughty homes. Rising living costs. A growing climate crisis.
These challenges can feel overwhelming — but community energy shows that collective action works.
What’s happening
That’s why, starting this Saturday, we’re hosting two interactive, hands-on workshops with Repowering London. They’re about more than solar panels — they’re about how residents can come together to shape Sutton’s energy future.
