Green light for St Mark's Church of England primary school, Islington

With the thumbs up from the Diocese, it’s all go for St Mark’s, our first Church of England school.

We’ve just submitted a grant application to the Islington Community Energy Fund and will soon apply to the London Community Energy Fund too for solar panels and a battery system for the school. The plan is for everything to be up and running by Easter next year.

It’s our first partnership with a Diocese school in the borough and will be financed through a combination of grant funding and a community share offer. More to follow!

We hope to use this model to support other Church Schools in North London in the future.
