It's time to celebrate!

Hi everyone

We’re thrilled to let you know that we’ve been awarded National Lottery funding (£500,000 over five years) to help power the organisation to support more communities and community buildings.

Our story so far

Since our first solar project for St Anne’s Church, Highgate, in 2015, we’ve been working in partnership with local communities to help reduce carbon emissions and running costs and tackle fuel poverty across North London. Over the last 10 years we’ve made a big impact by:

• delivering over 40 successful solar, LED Lighting, heat pump and other energy-saving projects

• installing 599 kWp of solar capacity and generating 1,759 MWh of electricity, sufficient to power 652 homes for a year

• saving 500 tonnes of carbon, equivalent to carbon captured by 23,000 trees in a year

• raising £1 million through grants and community share offers to fund its projects

Investing in our future

Except for one salaried member, our core team is made up of professionals who volunteer their time and energy, backed up by our brilliant team of technical volunteers.

Anna Woodeson, our Director & Chair ‘With over 20 projects in the pipeline and bold ambitions for the next five years and beyond, we plan to invest the funding to build our core team to boost our mission.’
