Energy-saving advice in partnership with Finchley Foodbank
As well as our community solar projects, we deliver free energy-saving advice to help tackle food poverty.
Working in partnership with the Finchley Foodbank, we’re running weekly drop-in sessions and 1 to 1 support, helping vulnerable people stay warm and dry and minimise their bills.
Paul Woodward, Chair of Trustees for Finchley Foodbank: ‘We’re glad to partner with Power Up North London and this collaboration comes at a critical time, as the weather gets colder and people start to struggle with energy costs.’
Thanks to new funding from Barnet Council, we’ll be able to continue this work throughout the winter and train energy champions to go out into the community, reaching more people in need and creating career opportunities too.
