Meet some of our Associates
involved with project delivery
Jamie
Jamie, who cares deeply about sustainability, joined us in 2025. His first project was to help develop an automated system to monitor the performance and energy generated by our solar sites. He's now project managing the installation of solar panels at four schools in Enfield, supported by £72,000 of funding from the London Community Energy Fund.
PhD in Electronic Engineering.
John
John, previously a Software Development Manager for a range of companies including Texas Instruments & Citibank, has led a range of projects including solar panel installation at Talacre Community Sports Centre, Regent High and Parliament Hill Schools. He also leads our new Heat Team.
BSc in electrical and electronic engineering.
Abbie
Abbie is an operator–strategist with 15+ years of experience working alongside founders, investors, and senior leaders to turn strategy into execution across startups, venture capital, and mission-driven organisations.
As a Partner at a startup consultancy and later in-house at biotech and B2B software startups, she focused on leadership development, organisational design, and aligning teams and processes with company strategy. Abbie is applying this systems-oriented approach in her Associate role with us, helping to scale our delivery model.
BA, Oriental Studies at Cambridge. ICF coaching accreditation. Currently completing APM PMQ at UCL.
Paul
As a former IT Consultant for Financial Services, Paul is keen to contribute to renewables powered, energy efficient North London.
Projects at Power Up range from consolidating data from different cloud providers into a Zoho Analytics platform to monitor projects, survey and data analysis for Regent High School to improve production, data management for use in presentations and grant applications, plus mentoring of new Associates.
BA (Hons.) in Physics, University of Oxford, Qualified Agile Project Management Practitioner (PRINCE2 Equivalent).
